So yeah.. I forgot I had an account here. I've been doing other things, like going and seeing movies with my other half and trying not to die from influenza (I had a mild case, but still felt like total shit). We're iced in again! Which means I can't get to class, the school is closed etc. On the plus side I got out of a midterm, on the downside it turned into a take home exam which may or may not end up with coffee all over it. I'm still doing art off and on. Went to something called Scrapbook Expo this last month, had fun, drove myself the point of creative exhaustion, and still made it home in time to grab some Indian and see Ride Along

Okay so.. the brilliant minds over at RolePlayGateway where I mentor have decided to hold this little online competition deal. I got... let's say... persuaded... prodded... told? that I was to create the logo. So since the event has already gone public, I'm going to post the logo here. Also, I'm a bit mad, my external monitor for my mac has been swiped by the fiancé for his stupid xbox. Okay I really do not understand this, people use Facebook for social networking, they use fucking MySpace (excuse the language), but what I really don't understand is what is the use of something like LinkedIn? Unless your a professional in the business world... I really do not see how it applies to the art world and resumes. I had at one time written an artistic or artists resume, but am still unsure of how this is really going to get me any sort of freelance work. So.. could someone explain to me the finer points of marketing yourself to the net/public for whatever it is your desiring to do with art??
